About a hundred travel professionals were present in the workshop organised by the Costa del Sol Tourist Board and held in Zaragoza. After welcoming attendees, Tourist Board President Salvador Pendón underscored the importance of the Aragón market to the Costa del Sol, especially after the improvements in air and rail communications.
According to Mr Pendón, from January to September 2010, the AVE high-speed train brought over 21,000 visitors to Málaga, whereas direct flights from Zaragoza carried 9,000.
Our President then went on to discuss the wide range of travel products available in Málaga Province, emphasising “the exceptional wealth of options, the fabulous cuisine and, above all, the warmth of the people.”
