Tourist Board and Motor Museum organise press trip before Eco Fashion Málaga

The Málaga-Costa del Sol Tourist Board and the Málaga Motor Show have organised a press trip for prestigious journalists from all over Spain coming to town for Eco Fashion, a sustainable fashion show being held at the museum today. The initiative seeks to place Málaga on the global map of the fashion and sustainability industry. The journalists are attending a luncheon party at a popular wine bar in town, sponsored by the Tourist Board.

Since it first opened its doors, the Málaga Motor Museum has been committed to sustainability. In fact, the museum’s educational programme includes EcoMuseum, an activity whereby school students learn environment-friendly habits. Moreover, one of its rooms, “Alternative Energy” is dedicated to green cars. Eco Fashion Málaga is in line with this initiatives.

Under the patronage of Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, the fashion show will introduce the 2012/2013 collections by local designers Montesco, Miguel Ángel Ruiz, Ángel Palazuelos, Rafael Urquizar, Francisco Valencia, Javier Alcántara, Gemma Melé, and, from Portugal, Pedro Reis.

Eco Fashion Málaga has been warmly welcomed in the fashion industry. Leading designers like Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada or Italian Silva Bruschini and members of the European nobility like princess Beatrice d’Orléans will be there to support the initiative.
