The Confortel Fuengirola, the Málaga-based hotel of the Confortel chain, has been granted the Universal Accessibility Certification by the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR), in compliance with standard UNE 170001-2:2007 of Global Accessibility. In its bet for ongoing improvement, the Confortel Fuengirola has implemented an accessibility management system.
With the Confortel Fuengirola, the hotel chain of Corporación Empresarial ONCE (CEOSA) has 15 establishments which have been granted the AENOR certification: Confortel Atrium, Confortel Caleta Park, Confortel Aqua 3 and Aqua 4, Confortel Suites Madrid, Confortel Barcelona, Confortel Auditori, Confortel Almirante, Confortel Bel Art, Confortel Puerta de Triana, Confortel Romareda, Confortel Alcalá Norte, and Confortel Golf Badajoz.
To these we should add the Confortel Pío XII –the first establishment in the Spanish hospitality industry to be granted this certification (in 2007)–, which renewed it last summer, for AENOR makes annual reviews and renews certifications every three years.
AENOR’s Universal Accessibility Certification guarantees that anybody, no matter what their disabilities are, can access the establishment and enjoy the services offered there.
