Czech journalists on Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol Tourist Board has welcomed a group of journalists from the Czech Republic, who came to cover the launch of charter flights from Prague to Almería and Málaga by the Czech tour operator FIRO-tour. The press trip was organised by the Spanish Tourist Office (OET) in Vienna and Empresa Pública para la Gestión del Turismo y del Deporte de Andalucía with the aim of publicising these two Andalusian cities as travel destinations.

They invited journalists representing the media with the largest circulation at the national level: “Blesk pro ženy,” “Deník,” “Květy,” “Lidé a Země,” “Překvapení,” and “Zdraví”. On the whole, the group comprised six journalists and a representative of the OET in Vienna.

In Málaga, they took a look at the historic district, the Arab Fortress, the Picasso Museum, the Thyssen Museum, the Cathedral, and La Concepción Botanical Garden. In addition, they visited Benalmádena and Ronda, where they went sightseeing and saw the Palace of Mondragón, the Church of Santa María, the House of St John Bosco, and the city centre.

The Tourist Board made dining and accommodation arrangements for them. In addition, we sent them information before they came to the Costa del Sol and gave them promotional materials when they were here, as well as a press dossier in English which we thought they would find useful to write their articles.
