The Tourist Board in the Andalusian trade missions in Spain

The National Marketing Department of the Costa del Sol Tourist Board has taken part in the “Andalusia in Spain” trade missions organised by Turismo Andaluz, alongside all the other Andalusian Tourist Boards and 41 Andalusia-based companies in the tourism industry. Málaga Province was represented by the Costa del Sol Tourist Board and a series of travel companies.

The format was similar to that of past editions: a two-hour workshop, a cocktail reception where Andalusian cuisine was served, and a flamenco show.

The businessmen and entrepreneurs who attended the event were satisfied with the outcome. Although some travel agents told us the domestic market is at a standstill (maybe due to the increasingly popular trend to rely on last-minute deals), the prospects for the Costa del Sol are not bad at all, Málaga City being the destination with the highest number of reservations in the region so far.
