French travel agents from Pierre & Vacances on Costa del Sol

After our International Marketing Department received a request, the Costa del Sol Tourist Board invited a group of 90 French travel and sales agents working for Pierre & Vacances to visit the Costa del Sol.

Pierre & Vacances is a leading holiday apartment rental company. Boasting 7 million customers and a 40-year history, it offers 50,000 holiday apartments in 350 destinations in France and Spain. On the Costa del Sol, the organisation has five resorts to rent, in Torremolinos (Maeva Stella Polaris), Manilva (Resort Terrazas Costa del Sol), Estepona (Apartamentos Estepona), and Benalmádena (Apartamentos Benálmadena Principe, Apartamentos Benalmádena Playa). Moreover, they are planning to expand their business in the region in the near future.

The visiting agents combined inspection visits to the apartments the firm owns in Málaga Province with visits to various attractions in our travel destination. The idea was for them to experience the Costa del Sol and thus feel encouraged to offer our destination to their customers. They toured Casares, Sotogrande, and Benalmádena, ate at various traditional restaurants, and took a catamaran ride to get views of the coastline from the sea.

The Tourist Board made a presentation for them at the Pierre & Vacances resort in Estepona, emphasising the wide range of travel products and services available on the Costa del Sol and showing how to use our website, a useful tool for trade members. In addition, we made the necessary transfer arrangements.

Our French visitors got interested in the Costa del Sol travel offer and thanked us for our service. We gave them promotional bags and offered our help for any information they might need on our destination.
